The error message “The requested dockable pane has not been created yet. Parameter name: id” can appear if the Blocks plugin is installed while Revit is running.
When this happens, the plugin may not load correctly, even if the installation was completed successfully.
In most cases, the solution is simple:
Close Revit completely;
Open Revit again;
If the message still appears, close and reopen Revit once more.
After restarting Revit, the plugin should load normally and the message should no longer appear.
If the issue continues, follow the steps below:
Restart your computer;
Find the Revit shortcut on your Windows desktop, or search for Revit in the Start menu;
Right-click the Revit icon;
Select “Run as administrator”;
If a confirmation window appears, click “Yes”.
