How to download the Blocks plugin and access our library

Click here to go directly to the Blocks plugin page in the Autodesk App Store, then click Download:

Although the download button appears next to the Trial label, the plugin downloads as the full version. This is the only version available. Your access to the library as Premium or Free depends on whether you have an active subscription linked to your Blocks account. For more information, see the articles "How to create an account on Blocks" and "How to create a subscription".

To download the plugin, you must be signed in to your Autodesk account. If you have not signed in for a while, you may be asked to enter your email address and password again.

Wait for the download to finish.

Open your computer’s Downloads folder and run the plugin installer. We recommend keeping Revit completely closed during the installation process.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Once the installation is complete, open Revit and go to the Add-Ins tab.

You will see a new button called Blocks. Click it to open the plugin and access our library.
