Plugin Download
Go to blocksrvt.com and click on the 'Download Plugin' option in the main menu.
On the page that opens, click 'Free Download' (even if you are a Premium user) to be redirected to the plugin’s download page on the Autodesk website.
Then, click 'Download'. Even though this option appears next to the 'Trial' description, the plugin provided is the full version. What actually determines whether your access to our library is Premium (full access) or Free (partial access) is whether or not you have an active subscription with us.
To proceed, you need to be logged into your Autodesk account, so you may be asked for your email and password.
Once logged in and after clicking 'Download', the installation file for the Blocks plugin will start downloading. Wait for it to finish, then move on to the next step to install it on your computer.
Installation
Go to your device’s Downloads folder and run the plugin installer.
It is recommended that Revit remains completely closed throughout the installation process.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Accessing the Plugin in Revit
After installation is complete, open Revit and go to the Add-ins tab.
A new button, called "Blocks", will be available. Click it to access the plugin, our library of families, and the collection of surface materials we provide.
