How to get the Blocks plugin and access our library

Learn how to download the plugin, install it on your computer, and access it in Revit

Downloading the plugin

  • Go to blocksrvt.com and click on the 'Download Plugin' option in the main menu;

  • On the page that opens, click 'Free Download' (even if you're already a Premium user) to be redirected to the plugin page on the Autodesk website;

  • Then, click on 'Download'. Although this option is listed under a 'Trial' description, the plugin provided is the full version. What defines whether your access will be Premium (full access) or Free (partial access) is whether or not you have an active subscription with us;

  • To proceed, you must be logged into your Autodesk account, so your email and password may be requested. If this happens, once logged into your Autodesk account, click the 'Download' option again. Wait for the download to complete and proceed with the installation.

Installation

  • Go to your device’s Downloads folder and run the plugin installer.

    We recommend that Revit is completely closed during the installation;

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
    ​

Accessing the Blocks plugin in Revit

  • After the installation, open Revit and go to the 'Add-Ins' tab;

  • You’ll see a new button called 'Blocks'. Click it to access the Blocks plugin and our library.
