With the Materials tool, available in the Blocks plugin, you can apply finishes to the walls and floors in your project quickly and easily.
How to access the tool
To access the materials, you need to have the Blocks plugin installed on your computer. You can download it from the Autodesk App Store and access it from the Add-ins tab in Revit. For more details, check out our article on “How to download the Blocks plugin and access our library.”
After opening the plugin, click on the Materials section:
How to apply a material
Left-click the material you want to use;
Click on the wall or floor in your project where you want to apply it.
Usage tips
Applied the wrong material? No problem. Simply select the correct one and apply it directly over the previous one;
One click = one application. Each click applies the material only once. To apply it to a different wall or floor, you'll need to select the material in the plugin again before your next click.
