Blocks families are developed specifically for Revit and can be downloaded through the Blocks Plugin or from blocksrvt.com. In both cases, the files are provided in the software’s native format, and their functionality and quality are only guaranteed when used in Revit.
To use a family in another software, you will need to check whether the file can be converted to a compatible format and which features will be preserved.
Blocks does not provide or guarantee conversion or compatibility with other software. Some Revit-native properties and information may be lost during the process, including parametric data, specifications, certain textures, and more complex features.
